I always wanted a well known Swiss divers watch but could never justify to myself (or my wife) spending £5,000+ on a secondhand model. Luckily I happened upon an articles about the C60 and fell in love with the blood red ceramic bezel, and I had to have one. Now it is glued to my wrist and my work is suffering as I can't take my eyes off it.

This is my first "up market" watch. I've been content with some excellent divers from other brands but have been looking for a ceramic bezel, sapphire crystal diver that would fit in my budget. The CW Trident Pro really delivers. I am amazed at the quality of this watch. As much as I love my other watches, the materials, design and function of this watch are a significant upgrade from other kinetic and automatic divers. If you are interested in CW as a brand or just this line of watches, you can't miss with trying one - especially with the 60 day return guarantee.

It was only very recently out of curiosity, that I searched the internet to see if any UK companies supplied high quality “Diver” style watches. I soon found the Christopher Ward website. I spent a week researching the product options in detail. That included independent reviews of their products via videos shared on the internet, and it included various forum discussions of their products. I have to say that the consensus of opinion gleaned from these reviews, told me that this company delivers exceptional quality watches at prices well below that of its competitors. So being totally hooked, the only question that remained was “Which one do I go for?” For me it had to be the C60 Trident Pro 600. I wanted a sporty looking watch, refined enough to look very classy in formal wear as well as looking good more casual, and importantly, feeling comfy on the wrist. Having a wrist diameter of about 7.25 inches (18.5cm), I opted for the smaller 38mm case with the black bezel and white dial. My watch arrived promptly after placing my order, sized as requested with a couple of links removed, those enclosed within the very smart box. This watch delivers on all counts! It punches massively above its weight for the price paid. It more than exceeded my expectations. The black Ceramic Bezel combined with the white dial, in my opinion, gives a classic high quality look, with a sporty edge to it. The high quality stainless steel bracelet and micro adjustable clasp matches the quality of the main case, both being impeccably finished throughout. If you like me, have experienced and enjoyed ownership of premium brands, such as those beginning with Ro and ending in Lex: Please consider trying a Christopher Ward watch. For me, it is a game changer. It is fantastic.

I've NEVER had a hand signed and personally addressed letter when I received my watch. Nice touch guys! This is a great watch, high quality case, bezel and SS Band. I wanted a dressier diver watch that didn't feel like a boat anchor on my wrist, so I bought the C60 Trident 600 (38mm). It arrived a week ago and I haven't taken it off yet. The fit and finish is better than the price demanded from comparable watch offerings at more established brands. Cutting out the middle man is working in Christopher Ward's favor, in my opinion, when looking at the price-to-value comparison of brands whose distribution channels primarily rely on wholesale pricing to retailers. This is the future and "authorized dealer" profits are going to suffer as the Christopher Wards of the world force change. The bezel action is crisp and smooth, easy to rotate; though I'd be curious to see how it functions with gloves on (probably not an issue). I'm very happy with the deep red offering and find it calls just enough attention from across the room to beget curious inquiries. The AR-coated crystal improves legibility over my non-AR-coated crystal watches; it's actually a pretty dramatic difference outdoors. The sapphire aspect is expected at this price point and, well, there's not much to say unless I start trying to scratch it just to see how it holds up (which I won't). The wave guilloche dial is a nice nod to the nautical theme. I like it a lot, although I suspect it will look dated in a few years. Such design details tend to go in trends, but I understand the need to differentiate what is otherwise a straightforward dive watch. I bought it because I like it and I know I'll like it 20 years from now, regardless of how watch design languages change. The lume is on par with watches in this price range and I have no complaints with it. It's not in professional diver watch territory, but if we're being honest those are tool watches and this is a dressier, suit-friendly offering from Christopher Ward. Several hours after sunset you have to study the dial an extra split second to read the time in a darkened room, but it is legible and comparable to watches in the price/function category. I can't speak to how the lume performs at 3 AM, but I also can't remember the last time I had to look at a lumed dial in total darkness, 10 hours after sundown (I suspect most prospective purchasers can't either), but this watch will give you the needed legibility until bedtime. The trident case back stamping is well-defined and, in my opinion, worthy of the effort and cost Christopher Ward put into it; it is executed perfectly and adds character to the watch. This detail is subtlety echoed by the trident counterbalance on the seconds hand. It's a quick conversation piece with friends and family; a nice finishing touch. The bracelet has a good micro-adjustment that makes it the most comfortable bracelet-equipped watch I own. The bracelet feels solid and has very little play in it, which I like. While I have zero complaints with bracelet comfort, I did find that sizing to my wrist (which I did with a link removal tool) was a bit of a chore when attempting to reconnect sections because of the collar insert that fits into the male links; the tolerances are so tight that perfect alignment is a must lest you bend a pin. That's not really a gripe, just an FYI that resizing the bracelet lends itself to user error more so than other bracelets I've dealt with (I bent a pin, so I had to use one from the removed links). It is a dressier dive watch; to the point I'm not sure many people will actually use it for diving. I am a certified diver, but I did not purchase the watch with the intent to dive with it. But I'm sure it would do the job just fine for recreational diving. It has good legibility, 600m water resistance and a unidirectional bezel; that kind of ticks the diver watch boxes without getting into the ISO 6425 weeds. Given the features and quality of the watch (and bracelet), there is a value proposition with Christopher Ward that I think will only grow over time. They are doing what it takes to build a brand name rooted in quality and value, and it will become better known outside the watch aficionado community; I have no doubt of that. I salute you, Christopher Ward, for offering a beautiful, quality dive watch in the sub- 40mm diameter range. Some people (okay, a lot of people) can't pull off 43+mm watches. Lastly, I bought one of the "Near New" models at a substantial discount. The 60-day return policy gave me the courage to tread into those waters, since the customer is buying a "used" watch sight unseen. Once it arrived I inspected it closely for signs of wear and tear that make it "Near New". Honestly, I couldn't spot anything that would suggest this watch wasn't brand new. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. I'm excited to see how the Trident line evolves over the next several years. Based on this first-time-buyer experience, there's a pretty good chance I'll be a returning customer in the years to come.

My dad has been a watch collector for a few years and has pieces that are roughly 5 times the price, but my watch doesn't look out of place side by side with any of them. In fact, my dad just ordered his first Christopher Ward last week after being blown away by the quality of mine.

I love watches very much, so i have had a lot of them. Most expensive were Grand Seiko quartz, Longines Legend diver and Omega Seamaster 300 m. But I decided to try Christopher Ward brand, because I like its current model range and I wonder how it will be in reality. I like the size - 38mm, because my wrist is small and in fact that's not only me but my wife too (when we go to the sea) will wear it. Probably, CW could do better if it was only 300 m and the height was smaller - but this current parameters also go well. The quality of case is quite perfect for it's price of course. On the wrist it feels very good, and looks very stylish. Bracelet is great too, though it would be the unique one if it has semi-links and not only adjustment. Overall, I highly recommend this watch.

Having owned the watch for over a year now I have to say it is my go to watch. Got the watch in the black Friday sale which made it even better value. Time keeping is good, normally adjust once a week. If i wear it every day its better than when standing. I did get a bit precious about it when I first brought it preferring to wear my citzen daily. However once I marked it slightly I decided its too robust & good looking to not wear it daily. Its a tough watch, well designed & stunning. My only bug bear is the polished centre links mark easily. I'd probably prefer a bracelet with out the polished centre links

The Swiss automatic movement is accurate offering us +-5 seconds per day. It is what we expected for our second Trident Pro 600. On this piece, the Matte black bezel rotates with a crisp snap and is quite a standout and a must see in person. The radium-filled indeces illuminate nicely in the dark. We finished off our piece with the C. Ward leather strap for the full vintage effect. This is another A quality piece from the Christopher Ward Trident lineup!

I picked mine up as a nearly new from a chap selling it as an unwanted gift. It took a while for the vintage design to grow on me and I found myself reverting to the 300 quartz I have. However, the design has now thoroughly grown on me perhaps because it is not a tribute type watch but a great combination in its own right. The quality of finish is faultless, the Matt ceramic bezel is a thing of wonderland looks even better in the flesh. Bad points. Misses out on top marks because of the bracelet strap, it's not the most comfortable in the world, the ratchet adjuster is a good idea but I am at a loss to understand why a premium watch of this type does not have screw pins holding the adjustable straps together. I think most people spending this on a watch would not have a problem spending a bit more for a screw strap. I wear mine these days on a ten quid NATO, Bond style grey and black strap and it is very comfortable and almost unnoticeable...this is not the case with the bracelet. Would I buy it again? If the I house movement was available in this vintage pattern I defiantly would. This watch is my daily wear.

With a milestone birthday rapidly approaching, I decided to treat myself to a new watch and with a particular model in mind headed to Christopher Ward's showroom to make my purchase. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Declan, who showed me a vast array of watches, including the one that I originally wanted. However, after much thought, I narrowed the choice to just two and couldn't decide between them so bought them both!! One was a 43mm Trident Pro 600 with a white dial and black bezel on a bracelet, which I am absolutely delighted with. The watch looks great, feels good on the wrist and has drawn many admiring comments from friends that have seen it. I am sure that the two Chris Ward watches that I currently own will not be the last.
