C65 Trident Collection
The best of both worlds
With a little help from Sean Connery’s 007, everybody knows the appeal of the slim classic dive watches championed throughout the 1960s. Our C65 Trident Collection takes those vintage cues and embellishes them with the best of modern day engineering; these are watches that are as comfortable alongside dinner jackets as wetsuits.
A follow up to 2016’s C65 Trident Vintage, this new Mk II edition retains many of the attributes that made the original such a customer favourite. Yet the inclusion of a brand new 38mm ‘light-catcher’ case ensures the C65 Trident Vintage Mk II is a more than worthy upgrade.
Marking the debut appearance of our 316L aesthetic in the C65 Trident Collection, the C65 Trident 316L Limited Edition's retro looks have been accentuated by a yellow dial and bezel constructed from a stainless steel alloy – namely, 316L. A limited edition created to celebrate this rugged material, just 316 of these summer-ready watches have been made.
Combining the anti-corrosive and patinating qualities of bronze with the slim and effortless aesthetic of dive watches championed by the likes of Sean Connery during the mid ‘60s period, the C65 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition then adds a hand-scratched dial and a chronometer-certified movement into the equation. With just 500 made, it’s a rare beauty.
Following the success of last year’s C65 Trident Bronze SH21 Limited Edition, this new 150-piece limited edition makes some tweaks that supply a modern twist. Substituting a bronze case for a stainless steel one, and including an indicator displaying what remains of our in-house chronometer Calibre SH21’s 120-hour power reserve, the C65 Trident Diver SH21 Limited Edition brings the worlds of vintage design and modern horology boldly together.
Art, many say, inspires art. And that’s particularly true in the case of the C65 Anthropocene, a wintry 300-piece interpretation of our C65 Trident GMT: its title and stark aesthetic are drawn from the timely North Pole-set Scottish Opera production of the same name.
A 200-piece spin-off of our C65 Trident Diver, the C65 Black Gold has a bezel and case finished in – you guessed it – black and gold. It’s this blend that supplies the C65’s ‘60s dive watch looks with a vintage radiance unlike anything else in the Collection.
Combining the rugged ‘60s appearance of our acclaimed C65 Trident Diver with the convenience of a self-winding Swiss-made movement, the C65 Trident Automatic offers more than just a mechanical upgrade: with the adoption of raised circular indexes and a refined dial aesthetic, the Automatic has its own iconic look and feel.
The latest addition to the C65 family – a range that occupies a unique space between our dress and dive collections – the Trident Diver is our ode to the lithe and elegantly masculine divers of the ‘60s. Using modern day technology to complement its retro appeal, the C65 Trident Diver is proof that the old and new can co-exist side by side. This is the past, but done better.
