JJ Calibres Collection

Originally from Dresden, Johannes Jahnke grew up obsessed with mechanics, always trying to improve on how machines worked. After training at some of the great watch houses (including Lang & Heyne) he’s now our technical director and master watchmaker.

  • C9 Jumping Hour Mk III

One for the individuals, this super-smart (in both senses of the word) watch tells the time in an unusual way. Storing up power to allow for a smooth ‘jump’, the hour is displayed in a window at 12-o’clock while the single minute hand makes its way around the dial. And for the first time, Arabic numerals are used rather than Romans, lending a more contemporary look.

  • C9 Moonphase

Before we released the C9 Moonphase, mechanical moonphase watches were out of reach of most watch buyers. Not any more. Thanks to the skills of Johannes Jahnke, on this piece the moon smoothly follows the path of our nearest neighbour, set among the deep blue of an exquisitely designed dial.

  • C9 Single Pusher Chronograph

One of JJ’s greatest achievements, the C9 Single Pusher Chronograph is an exceptionally elegant timepiece driven by a masterpiece of a movement. Johannes worked with one of the legends of Swiss horology, Jean Fillon, to create this perfect fusion of form and functionality.

  • C9 Worldtimer

Featuring a 3D-embossed dial dripping with mid-20th century style cues, the the C9 Worldtimer is a retro classic with modern functionality. Telling the time in two time zones simultaneously, it also displays familiar airport codes (e.g. LHR and JFK) in an aperture at 12 o’clock. If you’ve always seen yourself as being a Pan Am pilot (think Leonardo Dicaprio in Catch Me If You Can) then this is the watch for you.
