Impact through action
We have always believed that Christopher Ward has a responsibility — a duty, even — to support causes we care about, especially those that aren’t as well-known or widely supported as many higher-profile charities. Perhaps we also have a natural affinity for the underdog — can’t think why! 😊
We believe it’s action, not just fine words, that really matters. That’s why we’ve made a binding commitment to give 2% of our total sales to our chosen causes.
We call this our 2% for GOOD initiative.
This is a significant commitment for a company of our (relatively) small size, but it’s the right thing to do. Last year alone, we were able to donate more than £600,000 to organisations as varied as the Blue Marine Foundation, which is striving to turn the tide on overfishing and restore the ocean’s health, and our local Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service, which provides essential support to families of children with life-limiting conditions.
If you’d like to learn more about our 2% for GOOD initiative and the causes we support, keep reading - or contact us here if you’re interested in partnering or learning more about funding opportunities. We’d be delighted to share why giving to these causes matters so much to everyone at Christopher Ward.
