Two brands. One special watch
Two brands. One special watch
Drawing inspiration from Morgan’s vintage dashboard instruments, the C1 Morgan 3 Wheeler is a true car-lover’s watch.
The black dial is complemented by Old Radium luminescent paint applied to the indexes, hands and numerals, while the case has a DLC (diamond-like carbon) finish. At the top, the Morgan emblem is a reminder of our continuing partnership.
Further down, a small seconds subdial is recessed at 6 o'clock, while the top-brushed and sandblasted hands ensure perfect readability against the dial.
Its timing capabilities are equally impressive. Powered by a hand-wound version of our Calibre SH21 movement, the watch is in the top six percent of all mechanical watches for accuracy. Something to remember when you gaze through the clear caseback and see the movement ticking away without interruption.
Calibre SH21 Hand-wound Chronometer
Calibre SH21 hand-wound chronometer
Calibre SH21 movement was designed in-house by our then technical director Johannes Jahnke and is the first commercially viable mechanical movement from a British watch brand in over 50 years. In this particular version of Calibre SH21, small second and power reserve complications have also been added.
In this hand-wound version, Calibre SH21’s bridge has been specially skeletonised to reflect the design of the 3 Wheeler's power unit while revealing its twin barrels underneath. When fully wound, both barrels – decorated here with an intricate concentric design – can supply five days' worth of chronometer-certified timekeeping. The result is a movement that sits in the top five per cent of all Swiss-made calibres for accuracy.
