But The Twelve 660 isn’t just thin for the sake of it. This is a quietly sophisticated dress piece whose minimal design is considered and intentional in every way, letting the details speak for themselves.
Both the case and integrated bracelet have been redesigned for the Twelve 660. Not only are they slimmer than on previous Twelves, but also more comfortable. The metal flows seamlessly from case to link to clasp, where you’ll find a new super-thin buckle with hidden pushers.
On the dial, the signature 3D surface has been replaced with a granular texture that gives the brushed and polished indexes space – and makes the watch feel more luxurious. While printed indexes would have enabled us to go thinner, the applied indexes and twin-flags logo concentrate the mind on the purity of the timekeeping experience.
This all-watch sleekness is only possible due to the Sellita SW210 handwound movement, extensively modified by Christopher Ward. Through the clear caseback you can see unique high-grade finish on the wheels with a new, custom-designed, custom-made train bridge. These were designed in-house, machined at Palouzzo and finished at APJ, making use of key suppliers CW worked with on the C1 Bel Canto.
Available in an ultra-black DLC version or three stainless steel models in blue, green and silver. Which one’s for you?

Sellita SW210 handwound movement
The Sellita SW210 movement is a slim, 18-jewel, handwound calibre with power reserve of 42 hours that beats at 28,800vph. Its height is just 3.35mm high and has a diameter of 26mm. It’s noted for its reliability, accuracy and longevity.
Face it, it’s beautiful
The dial is an exercise in pared-down simplicity. The subtle granular finish provides a subtle backing for the ultra-polished hands, indexes and applied logo, giving them space to breathe and increasing the luxury feel.

The exhibition caseback provides an uninterrupted view of the Sellita SW210 movement. Notice how the custom-made train bridge – machined by Palouzzo and finished at APJ – catches the light, delivering a pitchside view of mechanical watchmaking at its most intricate.

At just 6.6mm tall, the Twelve 660 is Christopher Ward’s second thinnest watch ever. The unmistakable Twelve case has been re-proportioned and redesigned, while the flat surface of the bezel provides the perfect ’70s-style frame to the dial.
The so-slim bracelet
The redesigned bracelet creates an uninterrupted stream of metal that goes from case to link to clasp, where you’ll find a new super-thin buckle with hidden pushers. Product director Jörg Bader Jnr, says: “The new bracelet contributes hugely to how comfortable this watch is.”
DLC: Blacker than black
For those who value stealth, this is the one. The watch head, bracelet and clasp are all covered in Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, which is so wear-resistant that it’ll never chip. Everything’s the deepest, inkiest black – except for the silver dial furniture.
Love colour? Step this way
When you bring the architectural angles of the Twelve 660 together with the muted green, deep blue or shimmering silver dial options, you’ve got a timepiece that recalls the integrated watches of the 1970s – remixed for the 21st century.
