Christopher Ward and Pan Am® are pleased to announce the departure of the C60 Clipper GMT.
Limited to 707 pieces, this unique international travel watch, powered by the Sellita SW330-2 GMT movement, tells the propeller-to-jet story of Pan Am®, an airline that became the most loved carrier in aviation.
From its beginnings carrying flying boats out of Key West to its 1960s heyday, Pan Am® became a byword for the decadent jet age – and the infamous jet set. Which is where the C60 Clipper GMT comes in.
Every detail evokes vintage travel and Pan Am®’s inspirational identity. Surrounding the dial, the bidirectional bezel – in ‘Pan Am®’ blue – is printed with the codes of 24 of the airline’s destinations (with the ‘EYW’ code for Key West coloured red). This enables you to check every time zone around the world instantly.
Another retro aviation touch is the inner ‘Pepsi’ bezel, which delivers a classic GMT experience when used with the fourth hand.
The dial, in a creamy ‘eggshell’ tone, plays host to the Pan Am® logotype, which balances the CW twin-flags emblem and date window at 6 o’clock. The handset is instantly legible, while the Boeing 707 counterbalance on the seconds hand is a reminder of the company’s most famous aircraft. On the reverse of the 42mm Light-catcher™ case, the Pan Am® ‘Blue Meatball’ logo is engraved into the caseback.

Sellita SW330-2 Automatic
The Sellita SW330-2 is an alternative to the ETA 2893, and a movement that provides both superb accuracy and GMT timing.
Just 4.1mm thick, the SW330-2 has 25 jewels and beats at a rate of 28,800 per hour with a power reserve of up to 56 hours. The central GMT hand can be set independently from the hour and seconds hands.
As well as providing both regular and GMT timekeeping, the SW330-2 also boasts a power reserve of up to 56 hours thanks to an improvement in its barrels (as seen on the SW330-1).
Its crown positions are 1) Manual winding, 2) adjustment of date, and GMT hand 3) Time setting and hacked seconds.
The outer bezel – printed with 24 Pan Am® destinations, including Key West (in red) – gives you instant worldtimer functionality.
Pan Am®s ‘Blue Meatball’ logo is deep-stamped into the caseback, as is the unique number of your limited edition watch.
From the ‘Pepsi’ interior bezel to the Boeing 707 counterbalance, authentic details abound.
The ‘26’ is in ‘Pan Am®’ blue to mark the airline’s first jet flight from New York to Paris on October 26th, 1958.
The watch comes with a seatbelt-like nylon strap and eco-friendly luxury presentation box, complete with a boarding-pass sleeve, flight-manual polishing cloth and owner’s handbook.
