Christopher Ward is the Official Timekeeper of Premiership Rugby – and in our second season with the league, we’ll be doing our best to treat CW’s scrum of rugby fans.

Sport runs through the DNA of Christopher Ward.

It’s why the company is Everton’s Official Global Timing Partner and why, through our Challenger programme, CW has helped fund the careers of Olympic gold medallist Will Satch and World Champion wheelchair racer Sammi Kinghorn.

The latest partnership began in May 2023 with a giant of sport: Premiership Rugby, English rugby union’s elite professional league.

As the competition’s Official Timekeeper, the Christopher Ward name has been visible across all Premiership Rugby stadiums – specifically the shot clocks introduced to the league this past season. Stadium clocks have also been branded by CW, while viewers on TNT Sports and ITV have benefited from new on-screen timekeeping branding as part of this long-term partnership. There’s also exclusive video content you won’t see anywhere else – such as the player interviews under this article.

Mike France, CEO and co-founder of Christopher Ward, says: “It’s been an honour to be the Official Timekeeper of the league – but we’re just getting going. In our second season with the Premiership, we’ll introduce a raft of experiences that CW fans can enjoy. If you’ve seen what we’ve created with Everton, like training days, match tickets and ‘meet the players’ events, you’ll know we don’t do things by half.”

Premiership Rugby’s chief commercial officer Mark Brittain says: “We’re so pleased to welcome Christopher Ward to the Premiership Rugby family. It’s great to partner with a British brand that shares our values and passion for growing the game, and we’re excited to work alongside them.”
