Christopher Ward’s elite copywriting team don’t do things by half.
So when the specifications for the sophisticated second-generation C63 Sealander Automatic arrived, pencils were (metaphorically) sharpened, thesauruses scanned for fancy words and celebratory drinks booked at the Ritz hotel in London.
Then we got the bad news.

This improved incarnation of the Sellita SW200 movement delivers a generous power reserve of 65 hours. This is achieved through an optimised gear train, redesigned barrel and mainspring, enhanced automatic winding system, and updated balance assembly. This 26-jewel calibre is also more accurate than its predecessor, with an accuracy of -5/+12 seconds per day.
Finishing the movement is a new refined, skeletonised rotor: sandblasted beneath, with raised Christopher Ward text and a debossed twin-flags logo. Linear brushing across the upper surfaces contrasts with concentric circular brushing on the rotor weight – considered detailing, executed with precision.
