A landmark collaboration
A landmark collaboration
The Brooklynite draws inspiration from the Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower – an Art Deco landmark whose four-sided clock has watched over the borough, and the Worn & Wound office, for nearly a century.
Our canvas is the Christopher Ward C12 Loco – a watch recently recognised as WatchPro awards Challenger Watch of the Year, and claimant of a 2025 GPHG Petite Aiguille official nomination. Together, we’ve reimagined it through the lens of Worn & Wound’s hometown: Brooklyn.
“The C12 Loco isn’t trying to evoke a sports car or a yacht or a period or nostalgia or some faux-luxury concept. It is, refreshingly if perhaps unabashedly, what it is.” - Zach Weiss, co-founder, Worn & Wound
Its textured off-white dial, vertical relief lines, and diamond hour markers echo the tower’s architecture, while the dial-side free-sprung balance wheel reveals the beating heart of CW’s in-house CW-003 calibre.
Two independent brands. One shared vision. A Brooklyn story told through watchmaking.
Limited to 100 pieces worldwide.
Introducing Calibre CW-003
Introducing Calibre CW-003
Designed to achieve the most symmetrical layout possible, the new, manually-wound CW-003 movement is unique to the C12 and hand-finished to a superb degree. Built of no fewer than 138 individual components, The Brooklynite will stay running accurately for an incredible 144-hours (or six days) after winding, and with a timing tolerance of -0/+7 seconds per day.
Design inspiration
The Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower has watched over Brooklyn since 1929. Its Art Deco grandeur – soaring façade, intricate carvings, and vast four-sided clock – inspires The Brooklynite. The off-white dial, subtle texture, and raised vertical lines echo the building’s limestone and height. Black-filled diamond markers draw directly from its clock face, while the cascading rings of the C12 frame the open balance wheel beneath.
The movement
Christopher Ward’s CW-003 calibre remains front and centre. With its free-sprung balance wheel visible on the dial, and cantilevered bridges and twin barrels visible through the back, it’s a feast for the eyes. Delivering a six-day power reserve and regulated to within chronometer accuracy, CW-003 brings timekeeping to architectural precision.
Case and bracelet
The C12’s distinctive 12-sided case is here in 41mm of steel, capped by a 4mm domed sapphire crystal. Brushed and polished facets emphasise the geometry, while an integrated steel bracelet flows seamlessly from the mid-case. The Brooklynite is also available with a black rubber strap for a sportier edge.

Just 100 pieces exist. Thirty will debut at Windup Watch Fair NYC (17th–19th Oct 2025), with the remaining launching worldwide on 21st October.
