Looks aren’t everything. OK, they are
The see-through sapphire dial of the C60 Sapphire goes through 20 steps and over 80 operations before it's ready. A procedure that delivers a material that’s not only beautiful and scratch-resistant but also incredibly thin (just 0.6mm thickness). Using lab grown sapphire for the dial not only lets you see the workings of the movement but gives you a flash of colour every time you glance at the watch.
But this is not a timepiece that trades only on its looks.
A professional diving watch, the case is made of 316L stainless steel and engineered for water resistance of 600m. The indexes are filled with Super-LumiNova® Grade X1 GL C1 so you can check the time no matter how dark (or wet) it is. And thanks to the watch’s 40mm width, it’ll sit happily on every size of wrist.
The back of the watch is every bit as mesmerising as the front. Turn it over, and you’ll see the bespoke Sellita SW200-1 movement ticking away through the sapphire caseback. A movement that’s not only accurate and reliable but delivers a 38-hour power reserve when the watch is taken off.
And reminds you that artistry can be found everywhere.
Sellita SW200-1 Automatic

Sellita SW200-1 Automatic
An update on the classic Sellita SW200, this Swiss-made self-winding movement is known for its accuracy and reliability.
The 26-jewel movement boasts a date wheel, a 4Hz frequency (equating to a smooth eight ticks per second) and a 38-hour power reserve. It also has an in-built anti-shock system to maintain accuracy when faced with any sudden jolts.

Dial of wonder
The dial of the watch is made with pure sapphire crystal that’s just 0.6mm thick. This is backed with a layer of blue polycarbonate that gives the dial its translucent blue glow – as well as a view into the mechanical movement behind.

Blue heaven
The C60 Sapphire uses a ‘light-catcher™’ case, as conceived by head of product design, Adrian Buchmann. It got its name from the way light bounces off its polished and brushed surfaces.

See the magic
You can glimpse the Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement through the watch’s exhibition caseback which, like the dial, is made from sapphire crystal.

Swap shop
Changing straps has long been a fiddle for watch-wearers. No longer. The C60 Sapphire uses Christopher Ward's ingenious quick-release system to make swapping straps a breeze.
Precision at its best
The C60 Sapphire marked our first foray into the world of TV advertising. From May 1st 2020 the ad ran across Sky channels; Sky One, Sky Sports, Sky Atlantic, Sky Witness and more. You can watch it here.

Seeing is believing
Many watches are handsome, but some are beautiful. And then you get one – like the C60 Sapphire – that’s a total knockout.
Using the bezel on a dive watch
This video explains how our Trident range’s unidirectional bezel should be used correctly during a dive. Don’t forget: it can also be used for other timing needs.
