The C65 Chronograph’s ultra-bright colour scheme may be straight from the late-1960s, but this is a watch engineered for the demands of today.
The star of the show is the dial. The blue base is complemented by red, blue and orange detailing. The colours mix on the 30-minute counter subdial, which follows the design of vintage yachting – or ‘regatta’ watches. Extra timing options come in the shape of a unidirectional diver’s bezel and tachymeter around the circumference.
There are more retro touches with the ‘glassbox’ sapphire crystal and our signature light-catcher™ case, which is both enticing to look at and – at a diameter of 41mm – comfortable to wear. Turn the watch over to see the movement through the transparent ‘exhibition’ caseback. While this isn’t strictly authentic to the late-’60s, it’s one modern touch we knew you’d appreciate.
Behind the fun is some serious engineering – namely the Sellita SW510 BHa ‘bicompax’ automatic movement with twin subdials and stopwatch functionality. Boasting a 48-hour power reserve, there’s also a date wheel (with red-on-white numerals) at 6 o’clock.
Finally, because the C65 Chronograph is also a contemporary diving instrument, it boasts screw-down pushers and crown, and water-resistance to 150m.
Sellita SW510 BHa Automatic

Sellita SW510 BHa Automatic
Produced from the same patents as the legendary Valjoux 7750, the Sellita SW510 BHa is a ‘bicompax’ automatic movement with twin subdials and stopwatch functionality.
Like the 7750, the movement has a 48-hour power reserve and a beat frequency of 28,800 – but also adds two extra jewels, helping to reduce friction over time.
The SW510 BHa has two pushers. The top one starts the central seconds hand with minutes amassing on a counter at 3 o’clock. To stop the hand, merely press the pusher again. You’re then able to reset the timer by pressing the lower pusher.
The SW510 BHa also has a date wheel which can be seen at 6 o’clock, while an integrated anti-shock system maintains accuracy under duress.

A dial. Like no other
Inspired by classic regatta watches, the dial has a bi-colour 30-minute counter that works with the central seconds hand in stopwatch mode. A small seconds dial delivers extra timing options.

Magic case
At 41mm, the watch is modern and masculine, yet thanks to the graceful light-catcher™ case it wears slimmer: fitting perfectly under a cuff, and looking great with a short-sleeve, too.

Colour. Everywhere
From the bright orange central seconds hand to the blue, red and white of the 30-minute counter (plus the red-on-white date numerals), this is a watch immersed in colour.

Security as standard
The screw-down stopwatch pushers provide an extra layer of water-resistance, while a screw-down crown adds additional security. Water-resistance is guaranteed to 150m.
Use a Chronograph
When you buy a Christopher Ward chronograph you’re not getting a watch – but an ultra-accurate timing device. In this video we’ll show how to use the stopwatch function and the tachymeter bezel.
