Adrian’s labour of love
Adrian’s labour of love
When Adrian Barker, founder of Bark & Jack, reviewed the original C60 Trident Lumière, he described it as an “insane amount of watch for the money”.
He admired it so much that he suggested working with us to create his own version, the limited edition C60 Trident Lumière Green Fifteen x B&J. A watch inspired by Adrian’s love of detail and 20th century watchmaking – and bolstered by a series of touches that tell a deeply personal story.
The 41mm, Grade 2 titanium Light-catcher™ case – designed to sit close to the wrist – is light to wear and robust enough to withstand the most testing of conditions. Its solid case back carries a multi-finished Bark & Jack logo, with a background pattern lifted from Adrian’s late grandfather’s pocket knife – a prop that’s made its way into shots across his eight years on YouTube.
The bespoke matte black dial has a softened granular texture, reinforcing the ‘tool’ aesthetic, while the raised chapter ring with minute track adds depth and legibility. The minute hand, crafted in Globolight® luminous ceramic, glows green, while the hour and seconds hand are blue.
A hidden B&J signature adorns the dial, revealed only by the pocket-sized, rechargeable ultraviolet (UV) torch sent with the watch – a first for Christopher Ward.
As a professional dive instrument, the helium release valve – integrated into the case – will protect your watch from damage on deepwater ascents.
The Green Fifteen comes on the classic, three-link Bader bracelet in Grade 2 titanium, plus a complimentary Bark & Jack strap. Handcrafted in Europe, the strap features titanium hardware, a fabric-style upper and a rubber lining.
Sellita SW300-1 COSC
Sellita SW300-1 COSC
Launched in 2008, Sellita’s 25-jewel SW300-1 automatic movement is one of the most respected calibres in Swiss watchmaking. At 25.6mm in diameter and with a height of 3.6 mm (one millimetre less than the SW200-1), it has a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and boasts a power reserve of 56 hours. Seen as an alternative to ETA’s 2892-A2 calibre, the SW300-1 can be customised with various complications, including date, moonphase, and GMT functions.
This chronometer version has been tested by the Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres, in a number of positions and temperatures to ensure precision timekeeping.
Globolight® circular indexes help with orientation and legibility.
The hidden Bark & Jack logo is activated only by exposure to ultraviolet light: here provided by the pocket-sized UV torch sent with the watch.
Redesigned two-colour bezel with full minute markings, with the first 15 minutes in green Super-LumiNova®. Plus, a Milsub-inspired dot within the triangle marker. The Globolight® minute hand glows green, while the hour and seconds hand are blue.
The three-link Bader bracelet is crafted in Grade 2 titanium for strength and lightness.
The caseback is stamped with the Bark & Jack logo, with a background pattern inspired by Adrian Barker’s grandfather’s pocket knife.
The 41mm Light-catcher™ case in Grade 2 titanium – waterproof to 300m – is only 10.75mm high.
The complimentary bespoke strap is lined with rubber for longevity and comfort.
