Motorsport and watchmaking have been bedfellows since the earliest days of the grand prix. Since then, motor racing has inspired some of the greatest watches, from Rolex’s Daytona to the Tag Heuer Monaco. Our collection carries on this tradition.
Referencing the classic racing watches of the past, there’s a beautiful retro feel to this superior chronograph. But don’t let that fool you into thinking that the technology inside is vintage: far from it. The C7 is powered by a Ronda quartz movement which you can really test out the next time the grand prix’s on. Or alternatively, when you’re ‘maxing out’ your new hatchback in the supermarket car park.
Referencing the classic racing watches of the past, there’s a beautiful retro feel to this chronograph. But don’t let that fool you into thinking that the technology inside is vintage – far from it. The C7 is powered by a COSC-certified ETA quartz movement which delivers near-unheard of levels of accuracy. The next time the grand prix’s on TV, you’ll be well prepared.
As the official timing partner of the Bluebird Racing Team, we were hugely honoured to mark the company’s centenary with a watch that pays homage to this most iconic marque. Based on the speedometer of the car that broke the 300mph barrier in 1935 – and coloured in the marque’s very own ‘bluebird blue’ – it’s a beautiful piece of motorsport history.
One of our signature motorsport series, the C70 GP range pays homage to first grand prix races and the drivers that faced down death to triumph in them. From the way the hands contrast with the beautifully worked dials, to the domed crystals and engraved backplates, these chronometers are for those in love with both motor racing history and timekeeping accuracy.
In the unlikely event that a Ferrari GTO (price $52m) is out of your reach here’s the next best thing for any car-lover. In this beautiful watch an actual piece of a GTO (only 39 were ever made) has been placed in the back, covered by a crystal plate so you can gaze at it when the time alone isn’t enough to hold your attention.
Embedded with a piece of panel from one of the most sought-after racing cars ever – the Aston Martin DB4 Zagato, registration ‘1 VEV’ – this watch combines horological excellence with unrivalled motorsport provenance. Sourced by our partners, TMB Art Metal, the panel piece – which has been laser-cut into the shape of the steering wheel – can be viewed through the exhibition back. The sapphire crystal-covered dial references the speedo of the Zagato, while the ETA Valgranges A07.161 movement has a power reserve of 46 hours. Just 19 are for sale.
With three famous victories at Le Mans between 1955-57, we pay tribute to the Jaguar D-Type with a new limited edition watch embedded with a piece of piston from one of only 18 factory racing models. Sourced by TMB Art Metal, the fragment has been laser-cut into the shape of the D-Type’s alloys and can be seen through the clear caseback. The dial, meanwhile, references the car’s speedometer, while the watch is powered by the ETA Valgranges A07.161 movement, which also boasts a power reserve complication. Only 55 models are available.
