What is the 60|60 Guarantee?

    The 60|60 Guarantee is our industry-leading guarantee program. Which offers you a 60 day returns window and a 60 month warranty on your watch purchase.

What does the 5-Year Movement Guarantee cover?

    If your watch develops a mechanical fault within 5 years (sixty months) of dispatch, we will repair it free of charge. Note that any service completed by someone other than Christopher Ward will invalidate this guarantee. This guarantee does not affect your legal rights.

What is not included in the 5-Year Movement Guarantee Cover?
    • Accidental damage
    • Cosmetic damage (e.g., scratches, dents, corrosion, or discoloration) that does not impact product functionality
    • Water damage due to failure to maintain water resistance as outlined in the owner’s manual|
    • Straps and bracelets
    • Failure to follow instructions provided in the owner’s manual
    • Magnetisation of the watch movement
    • Issues from adjusting the date wheel between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.
    • Over-winding of any hand-wound mechanical watch
    • Deliberate damage or neglect
Frequently Asked Questions about the 5-Year Movement Guarantee:

      Does bracelet resizing affect my movement guarantee? No.

      Does engraving affect my movement guarantee? No, but the engraving charge will not be refunded.

      Can I delay the guarantee start date for a gift? No, the guarantee starts two weeks post despatch

      Is the movement guarantee transferable if I pass my watch on? Yes, as long as the new owner provides suitable proof of ownership, such as the warranty card or original purchase documents.

      Are quartz batteries included in the movement guarantee? We expect our quartz batteries to last at least two years and will replace any defective battery free of charge within this period. After two years, we can replace the battery for a fee.

Will my repair be covered by my warranty?

    Once the watch is back with us and inspected, we will confirm whether the repair falls within the warranty.

Does my warranty change after repair/service?

    All service and repair works come with a one-year warranty if outside of the original warranty period.
