Precision under pressure
Precision under pressure
For those who risk it all in service of their country, accuracy can be a matter of life and death.
So when Christopher Ward set out to create a watch that paid tribute to the Army, Navy and Royal Air Force, we knew that precision timing was front and centre. We also knew that a standard three-hander watch wouldn’t be sufficient.
Step forward the C63 Valour: an exceptional retro-style sports chronograph powered by one of the most accurate quartz movements in the world, ETA G10.212 AD COSC.
Inspired by the British Military’s quartz watches of the 1980s, the dial plays host to three subdials – controlled by pushers on the side of the case – which not only deliver a wealth of stopwatch options, but are dedicated to one of the Services through different coloured hands. And, in a first for a Military Collection, both the flat-polished numerals and logo have been applied for added depth.
Crafted in marine-grade stainless steel, the 39mm Light-catcher™ case is designed to sit snugly on almost every size of wrist. Turn the watch over, and you’ll find the insignia of the three Services deep-stamped into the case. Each heraldic badge features the ‘Queen’s crown’ – a mark of reverence to the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The C63 Valour is available on both the military-style Webbing strap, the sporty Bader bracelet or The Consort™ – our most jewellery-like bracelet. And thanks to our quick-release system, swapping between strap and bracelet is effortless. Finally, because this is a watch designed for adventure on land and at sea, water-resistance is to 150m.

ETA G10.212 AD COSC
Renowned for its accuracy, ETA’s G10.212 AD COSC is a quartz chronograph movement that displays hours, minutes, and seconds. Chronograph functionality is controlled by two pushers, while subdials display 1/10th of seconds, 60 seconds, and 30 minutes. It also has ‘add’ and ‘split’ functions. Accurate to +/- 10 seconds, the movement has a diameter of 29.80mm and is 5.12mm high.
Dial of delights
The reverse panda dial boasts three subdials – with the hand of each one coloured to a particular Service: red for the Army; dark blue for the Navy; light blue for the RAF.
Paying our dues
The caseback features the heraldic crest of the Army, Navy and RAF. We’ve used the versions with the ‘Queen’s crown’ as a mark of respect to Queen Elizabeth II.
Ultimate quartz precision
ETA G10.212 AD COSC quartz movement delivers not just incredible accuracy (+/- 10 seconds per year), but also a full range of stopwatch options.
A case you’ll love to wear
The 39mm Light-catcher™ case isn’t just beautiful – check the way light bounces off its surfaces – but has also been designed to sit closer to your wrist.
Your number’s up
Inspired by the design of the British Military’s quartz watches of the 1980s, the large numerals are applied and polished, as is CW’s ‘twin flags’ logo.
